Absent WWE Star Scheduled To Be At Friday’s SmackDown

WWE will present the SummerSlam fallout edition of SmackDown this Friday night from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

WWE will be looking to follow up on what happened at the PLE while also building towards the Bash in Berlin PLE later this month on SmackDown. WWE has yet to announce anything, although Roman Reigns, who returned at SummerSlam to cost Solo Sikoa his match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in the headliner, is being advertised for the show.

Rhodes, Solo, Reigns, Bayley, who lost to newly crowned Women’s Champion Nia Jax, and others who competed at SummerSlam are expected to appear to address what happened last Saturday night.

PWInsider.com reported this afternoon that AJ Styles is also scheduled for this week’s show. He hasn’t been seen on television since putting over Rhodes at the Clash at the Castle event in June.

Since then, Styles has worked a Pro Wrestling NOAH and three house shows last month as part of WWE’s Japan tour.
