WWE has been making various changes to several departments in the company as part of the re-tooling done by WWE President Nick Khan.
We told you on Wednesday that Jason Jordan has a new role in the company and Adam Pearce was moved to a different role, but there wasn’t any confirmation as to what it was.
Pwinsider.com reported today Pearce has moved up in terms of responsibilities behind the scenes as his new title is Director of Live Events.
In the past, WWE had the person in this role oversee live events and touring creative and lineups. Thus, this is another sign WWE is moving closer to hosting live events and continuing their preparation regarding strategies to return to touring.
Michael Hayes had been in this role, but since the shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he has been producing main event angles and storylines for Roman Reigns on SmackDown.
It should be noted Pearce is still a Producer and helping other Producers with their matches.
