Adam Pearce injured, new opponent announced for Roman Reigns at WWE Royal Rumble

This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown closed out with the contract signing between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Adam Pearce. Earlier in the show, Pearce agreed to a “No DQ” stipulation but later in the show, Reigns insisted on a “Last Man Standing” match.

Pearce said he’s waited all night for Reigns to sign the contract as Reigns looked on with a puzzled look on his face. Peace hobbled up the rampway and said that he would not be able to wrestle but Kevin Owens will replace him in the match. Owens walked out and then signed the contract as Reigns looked on with disbelief because he was outsmarted.
