Once again, plans changed and a WWE Raw segment did not take place as advertised.
Over the weekend, WWE sent out posts on social media advertising that Mustafa Ali would be on the show to speak about his turn and revealing himself to be the leader of RETRIBUTION.
Ali did not appear on the show and there was no sign of RETRIBUTION this week on Raw. The only mention was when Stephanie McMahon announced during the WWE Draft that they were going to stay on Raw.
We’ll try to find out more on why the segment was scrapped. Most likely, it was simply a late decision by Vince McMahon since he’s known to change his mind several times on the day of a show. As of a few hours ago, Ali was still listed on the WWE Raw preview. You can see the tweet below from Sunday with Ali mentioned.
