AEW Collision To Air Head-To-Head With WWE SmackDown

AEW Collision is slated to meet some stiff competition next week in the way of WWE SmackDown.

Next week’s show will be the go-home edition for the All Out pay-per-view event on September 7th. Because All Out is taking place on a Saturday, AEW will move Collision to a rare Friday night timeslot, airing it an hour after Rampage. This would set up a three-hour block of AEW programming.

It also means going head-to-head with SmackDown that night. This will be the final SmackDown on FOX before it returns to the USA Network.

Announced for SmackDown include Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline, taking on Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford, as well as the return of Giovanni Vinici.

This week’s Collision has Tomohiro Ishii vs. Kyle Fletcher, The Undisputed Kingdom vs.  FTR, Hikaru Shida, Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb, & Queen Aminata, and Lee Moriarty, Johnny TV, and The Beast Mortos facing Hologram, Orange Cassidy, and Kyle O’Reilly.
