AEW Dynamite started by showing footage of Adam Page after AEW WrestleDream. He said when he sees Samoa Joe, he’s going to ruin his life.

AEW World Trios Championship: The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata (Champions) vs The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP)

Hobbs hit a spinebuster on Benjamin. Lashley gave Hobbs a sidewalk slam. Joe kicked Lashley in the face and then locked in the Kokina Clutch on MVP. MVP escaped by dropping down. Ricochet got on the ring apron. This distracted MVP which enabled Joe to get the Kokina Clutch on MVP again, causing him to tap out and retain the titles.

Winners and still AEW World Trios Champions: The Opps 

After the match, the Opps were interviewed in the ring. Joe said as long as Hangman Page is the champion, he’s going to come after him.

Backstage:

Kris Statlander accepted Mercedes Mone’s challenge for Statlander’s AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear.

In the ring:

Allin said before he climbed Mount Everest, many said he was irresponsible and could never be the face of this company. It would be bad PR if he got killed, but he would die for AEW. He was never going to quit at WrestleDream. As long as the Death Riders are still breathing, he will be after them.

Pre-taped interview:

Jack Perry said they beat the greatest tag team of all time, the Young Bucks, at WrestleDream, and now they’re going after the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Four-Way Tag Team Match: Penelope Ford & Megan Bayne vs Skye Blue & Julia Hart vs Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale vs Queen Aminata & Jamie Hayter

The winners of this match can select their opponents in the first round in the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship.

Nightingale escaped the Doomsday Device from Bayne and Ford. Nightingale hit Bayne with the Pounce. Hayter hit Nightingale from behind. Hayter and Aminata hit Nightingale with elbows. They then hit Ford with a double kick to the jaw. Hayter ended the match by hitting Ford with the Hayterade and pinning her.

Winners: Jamie Hayter & Queen Aminata

After the match, Hayter chose Skye Blue and Julia Hart as their first round opponents.

Backstage:

The Young Bucks were knocking on Tony Khan’s door. They said they are broke, are looking for a money match, and will face anybody in the money match. Tony Khan came out of his office. He said he will put up $400,000 for a match with JetSpeed and Jurassic Express against the Young Bucks and FTR this Saturday on Collision. FTR and Stokely came out of Khan’s office. The Bucks told FTR that they have a checkered past with them, but it’s water under the bridge.

Mercedes Mone Celebration:

Harley Cameron had her puppet of Mone making fun of her. Mone shoved the puppet’s face into the cake. When Mone was getting ready to shove Cameron’s face into the cake, Krist Statlander appeared, shoved Mone’s face into the cake, and chokeslammed her through the table. 

Pre-taped interview after AEW WrestleDream:

Jon Moxley said he didn’t deliver what he promised at WrestleDream. Allin’s commitment to self-destruction will one day be his downfall. He said they will continue their commitment to being the best as their only competition is themselves.

Jon Moxley (w/ Marina Shafir) vs Kyle O’Reilly

Moxley missed a Curb Stomp. They exchanged a few forearms and strikes. O’Reilly blocked the Death Rider and caught him in an ankle lock. While trying to escape the hold, Moxley punched the referee. Other referees ran into the ring followed by The Conglomeration and the Death Riders who fought amongst themselves.

Winner by DQ: Kyle O’Reilly

Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia vs Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Roderick Strong

Garcia hit a running clothesline in the corner on Briscoe. Claudio followed it up with a running uppercut. Yuta hit a Busaiku knee on Briscoe. Yuta hit Briscoe with a series of downward elbow strikes to his shoulder and chest area. Briscoe hit Yuta with a clothesline and the Jay Driller to pin him.

Winners: Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, and Roderick Strong.

After the match, PAC attacked Briscoe. Tomohiro Ishii entered the ring to help Briscoe and began exchanging forearms with PAC. Moxley came to ringside to distract Ishii which enabled Marina Shafir to give Ishii a low blow. Claudio picked up Cassidy but Darby Allin entered the ring with a bat and struck Claudio with it. Cassidy then delivered an Orange Punch to Claudio as the Death Riders left the ring area.

Backstage:

Mercedes Mone, still complaining about having cake on her face despite not wiping it off, was approached by Athena who said they should team up and become AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions. Mone said she liked the idea.

In the ring:

Kyle Fletcher said he beat Mark Briscoe at WrestleDream and he’s done with him. Briscoe came to the ring and asked for one more shot at the TNT Championship. Don Callis grabbed the microphone and told Briscoe, “No.”

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Brackets announced

  • Queen Aminata & Jamie Hayter vs Sky Blue & Julia Hart
  • Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron vs Mercedes Mone & Athena
  • Alex Windsor & Riho vs Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa
  • Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs TayJay

Backstage:

Mina Shirakawa said she hasn’t heard from Toni Storm in two weeks. She said they are now known as the Timeless Love Bombs as they love, they fight, and they will win the AEW World Women’s Tag Team Championship. Thekla entered, Mina challenged her to a match on Collision, and Thekla accepted.

AEW Unified Championship: Kazuchika Okada (Champion) vs ROH Champion Bandido

Okada hit Bandido with a dropkick. Bandido blocked the Rainmaker and rolled up Okada for a near fall. Bandido charged at Okada but was met with a kick to the chest. Bandido blocked another Rainmaker and gave one of his own to Okada followed by the GTS. Okada blocked the 21-Plex, hit the Rainmaker, and pinned Bandido to retain the championship.

Winner and still AEW Unified Champion: Kazuchika Okada

After the match, everybody from Don Callis Family came to the ring to celebrate except Konsuke Takeshita. Callis waived Takeshita to come to the ring. Takeshita reluctantly came out of the entrance way and halfway down the aisle looking angry at Okada.
