AEW Dynamite viewership drops from last week’s boost, WWE NXT stays steady for big title bouts

The live viewership numbers for both AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT are in. All Elite Wrestling took the win this week in total viewership and the key demo.

Dynamite, which featured the fallout from last Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view event, did live 743,000 viewers, down from last week’s 831,000 viewers, while they did a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from last Wednesday’s 0.33 rating. Last week, AEW got a big boost thanks to Shaquille O’Neal working his first match in AEW and his in-ring debut getting mainstream attention.

On the flip side, WWE NXT did live 691,000 viewers, down from last week’s 692,000 viewers, while they did a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from last Wednesday’s 0.20 rating. NXT featured three big title matches including Finn Balor vs. Adam Cole for the NXT Title.

AEW ranked #4 in the top 150 shows on cable while NXT was #25. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for each show:

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.32 / NXT: 0.18
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.19 / NXT: 0.12
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.45 / NXT: 0.23
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.14 / NXT: 0.08
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.10 / NXT: 0.05
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.13 / NXT: 0.09
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.37 / NXT: 0.23
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.25 / NXT: 0.39
