Welcome to our live coverage of AEW Rampage, announced for tonight’s show, Riho will battle Yuka Sakazaki in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament qualifying match, Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter will square off with Ruby Soho and Toni Storm, Hook will take on JD Drake, and Jay Lethal will go against Konosuke Takeshita!

Match 1: Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter vs Ruby Soho and Toni Storm

– Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter start the match as the crowd chants “Pittsburgh sucks.” Britt and Ruby then come in, Britt lands a series of punches to Soho as shes in the ropes, followed by a slingblade for a nearfall, Ruby and Toni then land a modified double rock bottom. Toni then runs at Britt in the corner but Britt counters and slams Toni Storm face first into the turnbuckle as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial as we see Jamie Hayter Irish whip Toni into the corner, followed by hammering blows to the back, Ruby comes in with the hot tag, she lands a series of kicks and closelines to Britt, Toni storm then lands a hipattack to Britt in the corner, Toni goes for another one but Hayter lands a big boot, Toni hits a superkick onto Hayter, Toni then lands an Alabama slam to Hayter on top of Britt, Britt is able to counter Toni into an air raid crash, both women then get up and exchange a series of punches, Britt goes for her lockjaw but Toni rolls her up for a nearfall, Rebel is then able to distract Toni on the top rope, Britt lands a curbstomp and goes for the pin but Hayter and Ruby fall into them, Toni is then able to roll up Britt Baker for the victory.

Winners via pinfall: Ruby Soho and Toni Storm at 8:42

– Eddie Kingston is on the phone at the announce table desk Eddie, Eddie says that when he arrived home his wife was terrified and scared, Eddie then says that he wants to make Jericho feel the pain and suffering she felt as Jericho laughs.

– Tony Nese and Smart Mark Sterling call out Danhausen for a match next week on Rampage!

Match 2: Hook vs JD Drake

– The match starts out with Hook taking down Drake with a single leg, Drake lands a chop and goes for another one but Hook headbutts Drake’s hand, Hook then lands a suplex on Drake Drake then goes for a reverse DDT but Hook counters and locks in the redrum for the submission victory.

Winner via submission: Hook at 1:26

– After the match, Danhausen then comes to the ring, Danhausen asks Hook to be in his corner, Danhausen goes to shake Hook’s hand but Hook pushes him down, Danhausen leaves a bag of Hook’s favorite chips as a birthday gift, Hook leaves the present in the ring and leave.

– FTR is interviewed, Dax Harwood says that he needs to beat Adam Cole and win this tournament for his friend, Owen Hart, his family, and himself.

Match 3: Yuka Sakazaki vs Riho

– The match starts with Yuka locking in a headlock followed by an armlock, Riho rolls through but Yuka is able to take her down with another headlock, both get up and recievw a standing ovation. Riho then lands a crossbody from the top rope for a nearfall, Yuka lands a dropkick to Riho, sending her to the outside, Yuka then lands a cannonball to Riho on the outside as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial break as Riho goes for a top rope double footstomp but Yuka counters and lands a modified northern lights suplex for a nearfall, Yuka then goes for a splash from the rope but Riho is able to get her knees up, Riho then lands a German suplex on Yuka, both women then exchange roll ups, Riho hits a double knee slam to Yuka for a close nearfall, Yuka then lands a flatliner to Riho from the top rope for another nearfall, Yuka spins Riho around but Riho counters into a pinfall attempt but only gets two, both women then exchange punches but Riho is able to roll her up once again, this time getting the pinfall victory

Winner via pinfall: Riho at 9:20

– Dan Lambert is in the ring, in his hometown of Baltimore, Dan says that coming back her to an AEW crowd is sick, Dan says that AEW killed wrestling just like the fans killed Baltimore, Ethan Page then says he doesn’t want his daughter to watch a show with lip locking, Kazarian then comes out and demands a TNT title match against Scorpio, Ethan tells Kazarian that SCU is dead, Scorpio says that he’s going be a respectful and dominant champion, Scorpio says the days of the title getting thrown around are over, Scorpio says that next week Kazarian has his shot.

– Jungle Boy attacks Ricky Starks from the announce table and poses with the FTW title.

Match 4: Jay Lethal vs Konosuke Takeshita 

– Lethal takes down Konosuke and taunts, allowing Konosuke to land a series of chops followed by a series of armdrags and taunts of his own, Konosuke is then able to land a jumping closeline, sending Lethal to the outside Konosuke then lands a crossbody to the outside, Lethan is then able to land a tope suicida as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

– We are back from commercial break as Konosuke hits a lariat to Lethal from the top rope for a nearfall, Lethal is then able to lock in the figure four but Konosuke is able to reach the bottom rope, Konosuke lands a brainbuster on Lethal for a nearfall, Lethal for for the lethal injection but Konosuke counters and lands a lariat and a jumping knee, Konosuke goes for the pin but Sonjay Dutt distracts the ref, Lethal rolls up Konosuke, Konosuke pushes him off but Lethal is able to land the lethal injection for the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Jay Lethal at 9:38.

After the match, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal beat down Konosuke. Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor, and Orange Cassidy try to make the save. Satnam Singh slams Chuck Taylor’s head multiple times against the mat, Orange Cassidy gets on the apron but leaves, Samoa Joe then comes out to confront Satnam but officials hold him back as Ranpage goes off the air.
