AEW International Champion Kyle Fletcher vs. ROH Men’s World Champion Bandido for the AEW International Championship took place at the AEW Redemption pay-per-view event from the Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.
Bandido nearly pinned him early in the match and that got in the head of Kyle, who regrouped on the floor. They brawled to the floor and Kyle hit a powerbomb to Bandido on the apron. Back in the ring, Kyle targeted the neck and back of Bandido. Bandido made a comeback, including a press slam. Kyle hit a brainbuster on the apron. Back in the ring, Kyle got heat until Bandido countered and hit a dive from the top rope to the floor. Back in the ring, Bandido hit a shooting star press for 2. They trade strikes and Bandido hit a wild DDT, but couldn’t cover him. Bandido with a spanish fly off the top rope for 2 as Kyle go this hand on the rope. Bandido with a german suplex to Kyle for 2. Kyle with a brain buster for 2 that popped the crowd. Kyle with a driver for 2 then hit snake eyes in the corner and a running kick to the head and a brain buster off the top rope for the win.
