Abadon is officially on the open market. The unique star took to social media on Wednesday, June 11, to confirm that their contract with All Elite Wrestling has officially expired.
In a concise post on X, Abadon simply stated, “Officially a free agent. Let’s fill some dates!” This confirms a prior announcement from late May, where they had informed fans that their contract would not be renewed by AEW.
Known as “The Living Dead Girl,” Abadon was one of the most distinct characters on the AEW roster. Abadon’s last televised match for the promotion was an unsuccessful challenge for the TBS Championship against Julia Hart at the Worlds End pay-per-view in December 2023.
After a few appearances on ROH programming in early 2024, Abadon had not been used on either show for several months leading up to their contract’s expiration.
