The viewership numbers for AEW’s “Revolution” special are in.
The special did 347,000 viewers on Wednesday night on TNT right after Dynamite went off the air (10:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST). It ranked #51 in the top 150 shows on cable for the day and did a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
To compare, the special for Full Gear last November did 245,000 viewers with a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic and ranked #83. It should be noted that the Full Gear special aired on a Friday night. The All Out special last September did 357,000 viewers on a Saturday afternoon, ranked #23 in the top 150 shows on cable for the day and did a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
This was a one-hour special that featured footage shown meant to be the final hype for Sunday’s pay-per-view. The synopsis read like, “Previewing the second edition of “Revolution,” featuring Sting’s return to action for the first time in five years.”
No other information on the demographics are known because it ranked outside of the top 150 shows on cable.
