AJ Lee’s Autobiography ‘Crazy Is My Superpower’ Being Developed For A&E Show

A project that has been years in the making for AJ Mendez, formerly known as AJ Lee, is coming together.

Lee started working for WWE in 2009 in FCW and later NXT before being called up to the main roster in 2011. While on the main roster, she won the Divas Championship three times and held the title for 406 days. After leaving WWE in 2015 and retiring due to health issues, Lee worked on comic books and even wrote her own biography in 2017.

In later years, she was named the Executive Producer of WOW (Women of Wrestling) in October 2021. She also commented on WOW alongside promotion founders David McLane and Stephen Dickey before departing.

In 2017, it was announced that her memoir, “Crazy Is My Superpower,” was being developed for television. While appearing on The Comicon, it was noted that the show will air on A&E.

No further details were given, although Lee noted that she’s a private person and initially struggled to share her story. That changed once she looked at it from helping people with her life story.
