AJ Styles hits WWE milestone

WWE Champion AJ Styles has hit another milestone in his current title reign.

“The Phenomenal One” has reigned as WWE Champion since defeating Jinder Mahal for the strap on an episode of SmackDown Live back in November. He has feuded with the likes of Mahal, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev and Samoa Joe for the title during is reign.

Currently, Styles and Joe are working a program together on SmackDown Live. They will meet at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view with the WWE Title on the line. Yesterday, Styles hit another milestone in his title reign. He has now held the WWE Championship over 300 days.

He joins elite company such as Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Kevin Nash, John Cena and CM Punk as the only men to have ever accomplished such a feat. There was a point in time where nobody thought Styles would ever be in WWE.

To see him hit such a major milestone as the company’s World Champion is a pleasure to witness.
