Fans are still talking about AJ Styles’ WWE debut and what it could mean for others that come from the independent ranks. Styles was able to pull off something that we rarely see in WWE. He was able to keep his name, look and he has one of the coolest theme songs on the main roster. Styles continues to be a big merchandise seller for WWE. As noted earlier this week, WWEShop merchandise sold out just a couple of hours after his debut at the Royal Rumble. This should send a message to management and hopefully, this means that Styles will be protected and not pushed down to the mid-card like so many others have been in the past.
Style’s new entrance theme titled “Phenomenal” is rising up in the iTunes charts. The song, performed by CFO$, is currently listed in the top 100 charts on iTunes at number 52. If the name CF0$ sounds familiar, it’s because they are behind many of the theme songs you’ve heard for NXT. The bass seems to borrow a little from “Ain’t No Sunshine” by DMX.
