WWE United States Champion AJ Styles has his next title defense set as it will take place at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Verizon Arena on the USA Network, Ricochet beat Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Sami Zayn and Andrade in a Gauntlet Match. As a result of this win, Ricochet earned the opportunity to challenge Styles for the strap.
Also on this show, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows beat The Usos and Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder in a Triple Threat Match to become the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.
Following the show, Styles took to his official Twitter account where he wrote the following:

The SummerSlam pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario at the Scotiabank Arena.
