It looks like AJ Styles has agreed to terms on a new WWE contract or management is expecting him to sign soon if he hasn’t already.
Styles has been added to the May European tour and he is being advertised for matches against Samoa Joe. Styles’ current contract is set to expire next month and All Elite Wrestling would have obviously been interested in him. However, as it’s been reported for the last couple of months by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Styles had indicated that he wanted to stay with WWE and people who know him were not expecting him to jump to another company.
This is obviously a big signing for WWE as they are trying to avoid the perception that wrestlers want to leave them for greener pastures.
As of this writing, Dean Ambrose still intends on leaving the company and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are looking at their options when their deals expire in September.
Styles is scheduled to take on Randy Orton at WrestleMania 35.
