As noted last week, it looks like Alberto El Patron won't be back for the second season of Lucha Underground. One person close to the situation said "Alberto is out as of right now." Money and creative is being blamed as the downfall in the relationship.
Alberto has also told people in wrestling that he won't be taking bookings after November because he wants to spend the holidays with his family. Those close to him are saying that it's all speculative as to whether he'll be back or not.
He has also told some people that he's interested in going back to WWE for WrestleMania. That explains why WWE has started to talk openly about booking plans for him. He said that he'd rather have an advertised return rather than a surprise return. If he does go back to WWE then it would be a huge blow to AAA because they just lost Myzteziz.
I think Alberto wretling in Dallas could help boost ticket sales since there is a large Mexican-American population in the state of Texas.
