“There is a lot of rumors…” Bliss said about the speculation online. “I’ve had implants since I was 17. We’re just gonna throw that out there now. I’m very open and honest about it.”
Bliss said she got down to 85 pounds when she had an eating disorder (several years ago) and the doctor told her mother that she would die if she didn’t get treated. Bliss said they treated her health symptoms at first and later it was treated as a mental illness and that is when she started to get better. Bliss said that she was very self-conscious about her body because she felt like a 7-year-old boy.
“There are studies that show that [implants can help] women recover from eating disorders because they feel more womanly and they feel better about their bodies and better about their self-image,” Bliss said. “I will never regret doing that for myself because it helped me get over my eating disorders and my body image issues.”
Bliss aid her friend Erin was with her through her issues and she started to improve because her eating issues were affecting her friend.
Bliss later noted that she was told that it’s recommended to have the implants changed out every 10 years so the last doctor’s visit was just maintenance.
