Alexa Bliss addresses the rumor about her wearing a mask at WWE WrestleMania

During an appearance on the Battleground podcast this week, Alexa Bliss was asked about the rumor about her wearing a mask at WrestleMania. She said, “Honestly, I don’t know. Everything we find out, we kind of find out the morning of. As of now, no. I have some really cool makeup plans, but a mask, I’m not so sure about.”

The story about the mask, first reported by Ringside News, is that a pitch was made for Bliss to wear her own mask. The pitch was first made for the Royal Rumble but the idea fell through. It's not clear if the idea has been completely dropped or if a mask was actually made for her.

Bliss was asked where she gets her inspiration for her character: “I’ve actually taken some of the inspiration from the movie ‘Us’ when the Tethered people walk a certain way. I did that in a match with Asuka when I was ducking and dodging and everything like that. I more so take inspiration from mannerisms than actual movies.”
