On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, acting General Manager Baron Corbin made an interesting move. He named former Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss as his new assistant, and has allowed her to oversee the show’s Women’s Division. Bliss actually pitched the idea to Corbin, who agreed to the move given, as he puts it, he has a lot on his plate.
As we’ve noted before, Bliss is not currently medically cleared to compete inside the ring. She suffered several consecutive concussions and will need to wait for some time before being given the green light to compete again. As a result of her injuries, Bliss has been forced to miss events such as Evolution and Survivor Series.
It’s unknown how long Bliss will be out for, but WWE has found good ways to keep her in the mix on WWE TV for the past several weeks. Now, it looks like WWE has solidified her role as a new authoritative heel figure for the foreseeable future.
