Ronda Rousey has really impressed the professional wrestling world with her in-ring ability since making her debut at WrestleMania 34 this past April.
“The Rowdy One” teamed up with WWE Hall Of Famer and Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team match. Several months later Rousey made her singles debut on WWE pay-per-view (PPV) when she challenged Nia Jax for the RAW Women’s Championship.
Both in-ring performances were amazing on Rousey’s part, but the latter was interrupted by a Money In The Bank (MITB) cash-in by Alexa Bliss. Just when Rousey seemed to be on the verge of capturing WWE gold so young in her wrestling career, Bliss came out and attacked both Rousey and Jax before cashing-in, pinning Jax and leaving Chicago RAW Women’s Champion.
Rousey and Bliss have been butting heads lately, and will face each other at SummerSlam next month for the RAW Women’s Title. “Little Miss Bliss” recently joined the Cheap Seats podcast and offered her thoughts on Rousey’s WWE career thus far. Bliss admits that she’s “very impressed” with the former UFC champion, and really appreciates her ability to make great facial expressions:
“I am absolutely impressed. She does really well at her facial expressions, which I appreciate because I am really big on facial expressions. It is really easy to appreciate the fact that you know she has been hit before, and you know that pain, you have that emotional connection to her one way or another when you watch her perform.
“I was very impressed with her match against Nia Jax, and also her match at WrestleMania with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, it was just awesome. I am very proud of her and it’ll be fun to see where things go with that.”
