Alexa Bliss made her return to WWE at the Royal Rumble by competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble bout on Saturday night. This is after being in contract talks with WWE, which had previously halted her return plans as the two sides disagreed over her deal.
In the end, Bliss got a five-year contract to make a return, something that was finalized the morning of the show. WWE had prepared merchandise for her eventual return weeks before, as she was initially slated to return in San Jose on Raw in mid-January.
PWInsider.com reports, “Bliss’ big reaction at the Rumble caught the attention of some in the Hollywood circles.” This comes at a time when Hollywood has been paying close attention to WWE these days after inking their deal with Netflix.
As previously reported by PWInsider, Bliss is slated to work on the Raw brand going forward. However, that could be changing.
