A Fatal 4-Way match between Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, Tamina, and Alexa Bliss took place this week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown to determine who would challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions.
Before the match, Bayley explained her actions last week against Sasha Banks. As Bayley left the ring, she attacked Cross during her entrance so Cross was at a disadvantage for the Fatal 4-Way match. During the match, Cross hit the Sister Abigail on Cross at ringside as they went to commercial break. Bliss left to the backstage area so the match became a Triple Threat.
Cross eventually recovered and won the match by pinning Tamina with a sunset flip.
