Whether it be creative or travel arrangements, plans in WWE change quite often, and Alexa Bliss was recently reminded of that after being off television for the last several months.
After Royal Rumble this past January, where she lost to Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Bliss took time off from WWE with the belief that she would return eventually and be aligned with Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy as the last moments that fans saw her on WWE programming was seeing her react to a video where you could see a playground and Uncle Howdy after the match.
It was reported earlier this month that Bliss was ready to return to WWE TV, and WWE wanted her for Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia this Saturday.
However, Bliss going with the WWE crew overseas is no longer the plan as the insider account Boozer #BWE, which has broken past WWE stories, reported Bliss is not with the talent slated to do PR for the company. Instead, LA Knight and other wrestlers replaced Bliss and Bobby Lashley to do PR.
On a related note, Bliss checked in with fans amidst her hiatus from television:
Just wanted to say Hi & love y’all. 🖤
