Over the weekend a big match was announced for WWE’s Evolution pay-per-view in October. The PPV event is a historic one because it is the first all-female show in WWE history. It was announced that Alexa Bliss will be going one-on-one with Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus.
Many fans found it odd that WWE announced the news so early despite the event being on October 28th. Regardless, it looks like that didn’t just come as a shock to the WWE Universe. Apparently Bliss found out at the same time that we all did as well. WWE posted a video on their YouTube channel to get Bliss’ reaction to the news that she’d be facing Stratus at the event. Bliss had this to say about how she found out about the match:
“I found out like everyone else did on Twitter, which is pretty cool,” Bliss said. “And, I saw the Tweet and the notifications – my phone kept going off and I was like “What is going on?” So I check my phone and I saw WWE’s Tweet and I was really excited and surprised because I love Trish. I always watched Trish growing up, and I wasn’t able to get in the ring with anyone during the Royal Rumble, so I’m really excited to have this opportunity.”
