Alexa Bliss thinks she and Ronda Rousey should main event SummerSlam

This weekend is the biggest match of both Alexa Bliss and Ronda Rousey’s WWE careers.

The pair will go head-to-head at the SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Bliss is putting her Raw Women’s Championship up for grabs against the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion. In the midst of the Women’s Revolution, it’s no longer uncommon for women’s matches to headline major PPV events or shows.

With that being said, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that Bliss vs. Rousey headlines the SummerSlam card. Bliss was recently interviewed by Mirror Sports to discuss her match-up with Rousey. She made a case as to why her match with Rousey should headline “The Biggest Party Of The Summer”:

“You have the five-time WWE Champion going up against a UFC Hall of Famer. Why not let it be the main event?

“I do I believe that with the women’s evolution going the way it is, then why not? But if not, then it is still great that I get to have a match with Ronda, who is making her SummerSlam debut.”
