Allstate Arena has four matches listed on its website for Worlds Collide. WWE has announced none of them. The venue in Rosemont, Illinois, is listing the following for the September 26 show:
CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano against Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Omos.
Penta and Rey Fenix against Perros del Mal.
Las Tóxicas, the trio of Flammer, La Hiedra and Lady Maravilla, against Fatal Influence, the NXT group of Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
Dragon Lee against Jack Cartwheel.
The listing also says more matches are to be announced. Venue listings are drawn up for ticket selling and are regularly incomplete or wrong, and none of these four have been confirmed by WWE or AAA. The only match either company has made official is La Catalina against Roxanne Perez for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, set after La Catalina beat Flammer for the title at TripleMania 34 and Perez won a four-way to earn the shot.
The first of the four would follow directly from what happened in Mexico City. El Grande Americano took the AAA Mega Championship from Dominik on night two of TripleMania, in a match where Rey Mysterio came down in a neck brace and counted the three himself after the referee had gone down. Rey was in that position because Dominik had cost him his own match against Omos two nights earlier. A trios match putting Rey and Americano opposite Dominik and Omos is the next page of that story, and Punk is the addition to it.
Punk has been advertised for the show for weeks without a match. He is from Chicago, the venue is about 20 minutes from the city, and had he not lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Sami Zayn on September 11 he would presumably have been in a title match on it instead.
The Penta and Fenix match would be the pairing people have been waiting on. The brothers have not teamed regularly since arriving in WWE, and a planned AAA reunion last year was scrapped when Fenix was injured. Both were on SmackDown in Mexico City last week, where Fenix retained the AAA Cruiserweight Championship and Penta earned a World Heavyweight Championship shot against Roman Reigns. The listing does not name which members of Perros del Mal would be across from them.
Fatal Influence against Las Tóxicas would be the NXT side of the show. Jayne, Henley and Reid have been on WWE television regularly, with Reid and Henley holding the Women’s Tag Team Championship, and Las Tóxicas were on both nights of TripleMania.
Worlds Collide is the sixth under the WWE banner and the third co-promoted with AAA. It streams free on both companies’ YouTube channels and is expected to air on Fox across Latin America. The last one was in Paradise, Nevada in September 2025.
It runs head-to-head with AEW All Out, which is at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates the same night. The two venues are roughly 19 miles apart. WrestleTix reported on Monday that Allstate Arena is currently configured for 12,821 and that 10,834 tickets have been distributed, against a full map of 17,544, with 554 moving in the previous four days and the cheapest seat at $57.10.
For comparison, WWE sold 12,493 for its last show in the building, the July 6 Raw where Punk returned and beat Zayn for the title. All Out is closer to capacity in a smaller room, listed as set for 9,148 with 9,140 distributed against a map of 9,542.
