There is a report being attributed by Super Luchas to Sean Ross Sapp on Andrade supposedly going to Vince McMahon with Charlotte Flair to talk about getting pushed as a top star. The report also states that McMahon closed the door on Andrade and Charlotte.
Andrade took to Twitter to shoot down the report. He wrote, “That is a lie. I never went to speak with anyone especially not with my fiancee. But it sounds good.”
As we’ve noted in the past, McMahon likes Andrade and he has suggested for him to learn English so he can work on his promos. Paul Heyman is also said to be a big fan of Andrade’s work and given the amount of TV time he is getting each week on Raw, it doesn’t look like there are any plans to push him down the card.
Despite his recent suspension, Andrade is among the wrestlers getting the most TV time in recent months since WWE has started taping shows at the Performance Center.
Here is Andrade’s tweet where he denies going to meet with McMahon with Charlotte.
