Announce team confirmed for WWE’s studio show on Fox Sports 1

WWE has yet to promote the new studio show for Fox Sports 1 and we haven’t heard much on the format of the show but it looks like the announce team has been confirmed.

The WrestleVotes insider news account has confirmed that the announce team will be Renee Young and Booker T. The show will air live every week from Los Angeles. The early word on the show is that it will be similar to the UFC Tonight shows that used to air on Fox Sports 1 and the show will cover all of the news from WWE. Los Angeles works out well for Young since she lives driving distance away in Las Vegas.

This could mean that Young will be leaving Raw since WWE wants to split up the announcers to be specific to certain brands. It was reported on Friday that the announce team for SmackDown on FOX would be Michael Cole and Corey Graves and there’s been talk of Vic Joseph becoming the lead announcer for Monday Night Raw on USA.

The next few weeks should be interesting with the move to SmackDown, the announce team changes, more creative shake-ups, and the upcoming draft. A draft is scheduled for Friday, October 11 on SmackDown and Monday, October 14 on Raw.
