There are reports going around online about CM Punk getting into a heated argument with talent relations on Monday night before he flew home. Also, Punk may have suffered a concussion at the Royal Rumble. The company did test him and he was cleared so it is believed that he did not have a concussion. Punk is not speaking to anyone in the company as far as I can tell, except maybe one or 2 people (that would probably include his girlfriend AJ Lee). The roster is in the dark on what is going on with Punk and friends of Punk have not been able to get a straight answer from him on anything.
The Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H match was decided on early Monday and Punk was told of the change before he decided to go home. The company has been unhappy with Punk going public with his frustrations during his interview with Ariel Helwani and skipping out on house shows. He took Saturday off so he could attend the UFC on Fox show.
CM Punk is scheduled to be on Comedy Central’s @midnight show on February 12 with The Miz so it will be interesting to see if he is replaced. This was already scheduled in advance several weeks ago. Chris Hardwick hosts the show and is friends with CM Punk.
