Brie Bella has been taking a ton of heat on social media over the last couple of days after the stiff kick to the face of Liv Morgan that ended up knocking her out and causing a concussion.
The reaction has been overwhelmingly negative but, as noted last night, Tommy Dreamer came to Brie’s defense while on Sirius XM’s Busted Open Radio. Now, Impact Wrestling Hall Of Famer and former WWE Superstar Gail Kim has chimed in.
Kim said, “I’m sure it was an accident. We are in the world of pro wrestling after all. Injuries unfortunately happen.”

Wade Keller noted on a recent PWTorch audio show that there were people backstage that were furious about how the situation was handled by Brie and the referee. Brie was said to be devastated when she got backstage.
Morgan is not cleared to wrestle and there’s no word on when she might be back in the ring. The concussion may keep her out of WWE Super Show-Down where she is scheduled to team up with her Riott Squad partners against Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins.
