As noted earlier, Tommaso Ciampa has dedicated tonight's United States Title match to the late great Harley Race. In another post, Ciampa seems to hint that a former WWE star may be back tonight on Monday Night Raw.
For months, there have been rumors about what Johnny Gargano's next move will be in wrestling, and instead of jumping back in with another promotion, Gargano has opted to sit at home and spend time with his wife Candice LeRae and their son.
AEW Dynamite will be in Cleveland later this month and some fans have speculated that he could show up there but a tweet sent out today by Ciampa seems to indicate that his long-time friend might show up tonight. Ciampa's tweet mentions Harley Race in one of the hashtags and he also includes the Gargano wink face symbol/sign.
Tonight's show is in Cleveland so it would be a good time for Gargano to make his return. It's also worth pointing out that Gargano was one of the wrestlers pushed as one of the top stars in NXT and the belief was that Vince McMahon would not have done much with him on the main roster. Times have changed now with Triple H running creative.
