Eric Barnes is no longer working full-time for TNA Wrestling, according to the Wrestling Observer newsletter. Barnes worked in the marketing department. According to his LinkedIn profile, his official title was Sr. Director Consumer Engagement and Integrated Communications at IMPACT Ventures, LLC.
Barnes used to send in press releases to us to promote the shows and always seemed on top of things as far as their online marketing so it’s a shame that he’s now gone. I believe he also wrote content for the ImpactWrestling.com website.
Dave Meltzer noted that Barnes would stay on as a consultant and he was the last person left in the marketing department.
