WWE had a number of contracts that were up this year, with some signing new deals, such as Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Humberto Carrillo, Angel Garza, and Damian Priest.
Shayna Baszler has locked down a new deal. Baszler first signed up with WWE in 2017 after an MMA career, where she became a former NXT Women’s and Tag Team Champion. As of late, she has been paired with Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark as the Pure Fusion Collective on Raw, where they’ve been given a push.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Baszler signed a new deal with the company, as her existing deal was set to expire this year. The length of the deal is unknown, although it’s said to be a multi-year contract.
Baszler is always easy for the company to work with, according to one WWE staffer. A WWE higher-up added that Baszler has long been helpful in many ways with newer talent as well.
