Kassius Ohno is gone from WWE but Chris Hero has made it clear that he is back.
Last week as the mass WWE talent and employee cuts were taking place, Ohno was moved to the alumni section of WWE’s official website. At the time, there was some confusion as to whether he was actually released from the company or it was a mistake on the part of WWE’s digital team.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter later confirmed that Ohno had been released.
Ohno confirmed that he was gone from the company when he shared a post on his official Twitter account.
He used the hashtag #ChrisHeroIsBack and posted a video showing black and white footage of him in WWE. That footage stopped and came back in color as Chris Hero ended the video.

Ohno had his first stint with the company from 2011-2013 and then returned in 2016 for his second run where he was used in NXT in addition to working the NXT UK brand prior to the coronavirus outbreak.
