ORIGINAL: SummerSlam is set to go down from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 19th. One of the matches that will take place on the card is a Raw Women’s Title fight between defending champion Alexa Bliss and Ronda Rousey.
It will be Rousey’s second opportunity at WWE gold since she took on Nia Jax at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view earlier this year for the RAW Women’s Championship. Bliss cashed-in her MITB briefcase during that match and left Chicago with the title.
Now, Rousey will get her shot at redemption when she attempts to take the strap off “Little Miss Bliss” in New York. The American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX, which will host a WWE live event after SummerSlam on September 15th, may have spoiled the result for Rousey and Bliss’ match.
Here’s the latest advert for the program, where Rousey is holding the RAW Women’s Title (the post has since been deleted but we have the screenshot):
If the title change happens then it would mean that Rousey would likely go into the WWE Evolution pay-per-view as the champion.
