Asuka defends title after WWE SmackDown Live went off-air

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka was in action after Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown Live and 205 Live went off the air. This was after she didn’t appear on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Charlotte, NC at the Spectrum Center on the USA Network.

This has been a normal thing as of late when it comes to the booking by officials of the sports entertainment company for Asuka. Keep in mind that this is the same star who made Becky Lynch tap out in the opening match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event last month.

Asuka retained the SmackDown Women’s Title over Charlotte Flair. Asuka won by submission with the Asuka Lock. This served as the dark match to send fans who attended the show happy.

Asuka makes her next title defense as champion against Mandy Rose at Fastlane pay-per-view event takes place on March 10, 2019 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio and will air on the WWE Network.
