On the September 29, 2025 episode of WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley addressed the events of the previous week involving IYO SKY and the Kabuki Warriors. Ripley stated that the actions taken against IYO had crossed a line and announced that she intended to resolve the matter in the ring. She issued a challenge to the Kabuki Warriors to confront her directly.
IYO SKY responded by acknowledging that Ripley was correct in her assessment of Asuka and Kairi Sane’s behavior. However, she expressed that despite recent events, she still considered them family and maintained feelings of loyalty toward them.
The Kabuki Warriors appeared on the video screen to respond. Asuka reminded IYO that she had mentored her and helped shape her career. She expressed disappointment in IYO’s current alignment with Ripley and said she was willing to forgive IYO if she apologized. Kairi Sane added that they could still be a family. Asuka made it clear that reconciliation with Ripley was not possible.
Ripley rejected Asuka’s offer and told her off. She asked IYO to trust her and not return to the Kabuki Warriors. IYO said she needed time to think and exited the ring.
Following this, the Kabuki Warriors attacked Ripley from behind. IYO returned to the ring and attempted to stop the attack by pulling Asuka away. Kairi tried to reason with IYO, but Asuka sprayed mist in IYO’s eyes. Ripley tried to fight back but was outnumbered. The Kabuki Warriors targeted Ripley’s shoulder, hit her with spinning back hands, and followed up with Asuka’s submission hold and Kairi’s top-rope elbow drop.
