As previously noted, there are more releases that have not yet been made public. All of the main roster names have been announced but others that work in NXT or as employees were not listed on the WWE website.
NXT Superstar Nick Ogarelli (Nick Comoroto) confirmed on Twitter that he has been released by the company.
He tweeted, “It took a few days to post this but despite what happened I can still say I’m very thankful. This past year with the WWE has been a great time. I’d like to thank the coaches at the performance center for all the experience, knowledge and outlook I’ve gained and will continue to use throughout my career. I’d like to not say this as a goodbye as much as a see you later. Stay strong and stay safe world.”
As previously noted, there is speculation that others in NXT may be gone based on changes made to the WWE.com website. Kassius Ohno is no longer listed on the Performance Center website and he is now listed on WWE.com’s Alumni page. Others no longer on the Performance Center roster page are Taynara Conti, Tino Sabatelli Cezar Bononi, Mars Wang, Edgar Lopez, Faisal Kurdi, Hussain Aldagal, Jorge Bolly, Marcos Gomes, Mohamed Fahim and Omari Palmer. Until we hear more, the names listed above are not confirmed releases.
Bolly is El Hijo del Fantasma and is scheduled to appear on NXT next week so it doesn’t look like he has been released even though he is off the PC website for some reason. As of this writing, the only name confirmed today is Nick Ogarelli.
