Austin Aries details horrible experience with Air Canada, airport security called on him

If Austin Aries feels like he is being screwed with, you can bet that he will speak his mind. On Sunday, he posted a series of videos via Instagram Stories to vent about his recent customer service experience with Air Canada. He said that he was trying to get back into the United States from Canada and things began to fall apart when his first flight was delayed by an hour. The delay meant that he would need to hurry so he could get on the next flight. The problem, according to Aries, was that he was sent in the wrong direction by an Air Canada employee. The big issue for him was how things were handled when he tried to get some help from a customer service rep.

“Alright well I was supposed to be home in Las Vegas by now but unfortunately, I am sitting in Montreal at the airport and I will be sitting here in this airport for the next 10 hours thanks to the subpar service of one Air Canada. Air Canada.”

“So the day started out with some maintenance issues on my first flight out of Quebec City which delayed my first flight here to Montreal. It made my connection really tight. So when I got here I was in a hurry obviously to go find my gate. So as I’m getting close to my gate I realize that now it’s on the other side of some glass wall and I can’t actually get to it. I can see the gate, I can see people boarding but I can’t get to the other side of this wall. So I ask the gate agent how to get over there.”

He didn’t get help from the Air Canada employees so Aries then asked a lady that was selling perfume if she knew where to go. “She looks at me and literally directs me to where I have to go.” He continued, “She was selling perfume, she was more help than the gate agent.”

Aries said that he ran down and went through customs. He said that he got to the customer service area and he told the supervisor named Ana Maria about what he just went through. Her response was that it wasn’t the fault of the airline.

Aries pointed out that he would have made his flight if his initial flight wasn’t delayed by an hour. Naturally, Aries got upset by the “it’s not our fault” response. The supervisor advised him that she was the main person in charge but she gave him a card to call customer service. Aries said that he “side flicked” the card back at her and that is when she called security.

“So I tell her that I don’t need the card. I just need my flight rebooked. I’m informed that the next (and only) flight is at 8 pm tonight.” Aries said that he asked for lounge access since he will be stuck for hours and he was denied.
