Austin Theory cashes in Money In The Bank case but fails to win United States Title on WWE Raw

Seth Rollins’ United States Open Challenge closed out this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. The match was originally set to happen earlier in the show but an interruption by The Judgment Day led to a brawl between them and The OC and the return of Mia Yim.

Before his match, Rollins cut a promo in the ring about how he has elevated the United States Title and he said that he’s celebrating his 10th year in WWE. Mustafa Ali appeared on the big screen to answer the challenge but he was attacked by Bobby Lashley.

Lashley accepted the challenge and then brutally attacked Seth Rollins and finished the attack by slamming Rollins through the announcer’s table. The beating happened before the bell rang, so the match never officially got started.

Austin Theory cashed in his briefcase. Theory had the advantage but Rollins was able to turn things around. Theory was finally able to hit a-town down but Bobby Lashley interfered and attacked Theory. Theory was knocked out after being put in the Hurt Lock. Theory managed to get in the ring but Rollins hit the stomp and won the match.
