Backstage News On Bianca Belair’s WWE Status

Bianca Belair could be getting closer to making an in-ring return. Fightful is reporting that Belair was seen in Salt Lake City last week for WWE SmackDown. However, there’s still no word on when she will officially return to television.

Bianca has been out of the ring since her WrestleMania 41 injury, which was worse than first expected. She suffered a broken knuckle that is considered one of the toughest to heal.

A report from Fightful provided more details on the severe injury. “Well…she was in town for Smackdown last week. I’ve mentioned this before, but her finger break was one of the worst that you can get. Specifically the knuckle was affected. People in WWE didn’t think it was going to be that bad, because she reacted to it well backstage, but that’s just because she’s tougher than most.”

Even though Bianca hasn’t wrestled since April, she did show up on TV for special segments, including as a guest referee in the No Holds Barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi at WWE Evolution 2.

Belair’s return timeline remains uncertain, with recent reports indicating there is still no concrete date for her comeback. The injury, which has been described as a complex break in three places, has had healing complications, including difficulty bending the finger. While Belair is recovering, her former tag team partner Jade Cargill has turned heel and captured the WWE Women’s Championship, leading to speculation of a major feud between the two when the ‘EST’ is finally cleared to return.
