WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg is confirmed to be at tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw as he continues the build toward his retirement match against World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.
According to a report from PWInsiderElite.com, Goldberg’s appearance tonight is part of a broader schedule ahead of his final match. The current plan is for Goldberg to appear on all episodes of Raw leading up to the Saturday Night’s Main Event premium live event on July 12, with one exception.
The report notes that he is not scheduled to appear on next week’s episode, which is being held in Pittsburgh.
The feud began a week ago when Goldberg made a surprise return to confront the dominant champion, making his intentions clear that he was seeking one final run with the World Heavyweight Championship.
Goldberg is expected to address GUNTHER on tonight’s broadcast.
