There is an update on the status of injured WWE star Liv Morgan, according to a report from PWInsiderElite.com. Morgan has been out of action since suffering a separated shoulder earlier this year.
The report notes that the expectation within WWE is that Morgan will hopefully be able to return to the ring by the beginning of 2026. However, it is possible she could return sooner if her physical rehabilitation progresses ahead of schedule. Multiple sources indicate that WWE is “very excited” about Morgan’s eventual return to the active roster.
With her popularity, especially in Saudi Arabia, it’s possible WWE would want to wait and keep her return a surprise for the upcoming Royal Rumble Premium Live Event scheduled to take place there in the first quarter of 2026. Outside of her recovery, the trial for Morgan’s alleged stalker, Shawn Chan, is expected to begin in Florida sometime next month.
However, no specific date is currently listed on court records. The court session begins on November 1. Additionally, Morgan’s film, Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, currently has a tentative release window of summer 2026, though the report cautions that this date could easily change.
While away from WWE, Morgan has stayed quiet about her return and how the recovery process has gone. We wish her a speedy recovery.
