Backstage News On Bret Hart’s WWE Raw Appearance

WWE is bringing in Hall of Famer Bret Hart to make an appearance on tonight’s Raw episode, which goes down in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

WWE has loaded up the show with big matches, including Intercontinental title number one contender’s tournament finals with Jey Uso vs. Pete Dunne vs. Braun Strowman vs. Ilja Dragunov, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill defending against Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.

Also on the card are Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega, and TBA vs. Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville), Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee, and The Wyatt Sicks (Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis & Nikki Cross) vs. American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed & Ivy Nile) in a street fight.

PWInsider.com reports Hart is expected to be involved in a segment related to GUNTHER. Last week on Raw, the World Heavyweight Champion had a heated segment with Sami Zayn, seemingly kicking off their program.

Dave Meltzer reported in the daily update on F4Wonline.com that in regards to Hart being on the show, “Part of this is because it’ll be his last appearance at the Saddledome for a wrestling show, which is being torn down, and was the site of most WWE shows in that market for decades.”

Triple H previously stated that Hart appearing on the show would be something fans “definitely won’t want to miss.”
