Brock Lesnar was advertised to appear on Raw last night but, according to people backstage, he flew home on Monday morning. The Barclays Center began promoting him about a month ago but apparently plans changed. By now, most of you know that “plans changed” is a common thing in WWE.
There is no word on when he will be back but the assumption is that he will be back at some point, likely after his UFC fight with Daniel Cormier in early 2019.
Vince McMahon’s feeling on the false advertisement complaints is that fans got a suitable replacement with the surprise reunion of The Shield. For whatever it’s worth, Reigns vs. Braun Strowman matches are scheduled for live events in September so it looks like they are headed towards a match at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.
