Backstage News On CM Punk’s Status For WWE King And Queen Of The Ring

With WWE slated to make its next trip to Saudi Arabia, it has led to fans wondering whether CM Punk will be making the trip over for the upcoming WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Logan Paul is expected to headline the show from the Jeddah SuperDome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The pre-show starts at 12 p.m. ET, while the main card starts at 1 p.m. ET.

Other top matches include the finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, in addition to WWE Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan and WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed vs. Chad Gable.

Years ago, Punk sent a tweet to The Miz where he told him to suck a “blood money-covered d*ck in Saudi Arabia.” Although injured, CM Punk has been working the pre-shows for WWE’s PLEs. In the past, Saudi Arabia was known to pay big money for certain talents such as Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, and even Shawn Michaels, who came out of retirement for one match.

PWInsider.com reports Punk won’t be in Jeddah for King and Queen of the Ring this weekend, as he will be commentating on Friday night’s Cage Fury Fighting Championships in Philadelphia.
