For those of you who have asked about Finn Balor not appearing at the Royal Rumble, it turn out that he has not been cleared to wrestle yet. So, that might explain why he was not a surprise entrant at the Royal Rumble but they were targeting a February or March return so he may have never been in the plans to return at the Rumble.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter, he was evaluated this past week and he was not cleared. It’s not clear what the plans are for him but he is expected to be involved on WrestleMania in some form. He has said in interviews that he was targeting WrestleMania as his return date.
