Clearly, last week’s Friday Night SmackDown in Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center on FOX was a different show as it featured no fans in attendance.
Fightful has posted a report that has some interesting news and notes coming out of the show.
It was noted the show was very much a feeling out process and the plan as of Saturday was for WWE Monday Night Raw to be much different than SmackDown.
While WWE had a crew of dozens at the show to help prepare for the show and several wrestlers brought in, some were not used on the show.
The media outlet contacted several NXT talent who were not at the show and weren’t given any instruction by WWE officials as to whether they should be, were allowed, or anything of that sort.
Also, the original plan wasn’t for Triple H to be featured as an on-screen announcer for the whole show. Originally there were to be more guests featured.
However, due to Triple H’s chemistry with Michael Cole and fan reaction on social media to what he was doing, it led to an on-the-fly call to have him stick around throughout the entire show.
