As we noted on Sunday, John Cena was hit with a headbutt by Bray Wyatt at the Saturday house show causing his eye to get swollen shut. Cena wrestled limited action on Sunday’s house show. There was concern that he may have suffered a concussion but that’s not the case so that’s good news for Cena.
Cena’s eye injury looked a lot better last night than it did on Saturday and Sunday. The order from backstage was not to shoot him up close because they didn’t want to bring attention to his eye. WWE dodged a bullet because if he had suffered a concussion then he would have to stay out of the ring for a while and that’s the last thing they want since they’ve already lost CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
